Below is a sampling of Five-Star reviews for Dr. Lauren Davis from past and current clients. (You'll notice some reviews reference Dr. Chattigre, which was Dr. Davis' maiden name.)
Dr. Lauren is such a gentle soul. She has treated our blue heeler and our giant, orange cat. Our heeler had a FCE several months ago, and he is already moving much more easily because of the acupuncture. Our cat has a neurological disorder and is also in less pain after only one treatment. We are so glad Dr. Lauren has come to Teton Valley. She is an excellent addition to the care for our animals along with our other veterinarian. (Click HERE to see full review.)
Herbie could not walk at one point and Dr. Chattigre told me that "we have this". He not only walked again and played with my boxers but he lived to be 12 years old with his regular tune ups. My boxers also have seen Dr. regularly. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her over the last 20 years. If I could give Dr. Chattigre 10 stars I would!!! Dr. Davis has been working with our Corgi, Zelda. for about 3 months. Zelda loves coming to the clinic and runs in to see Dr. Davis. The care we have gotten is wonderful and Zelda is holding her own. (Click HERE to see full review.)
After just ONE acupuncture session, his limp completely disappeared and hasn’t returned. In addition to acupuncture, Dr. Chattigre incorporates veterinary orthopedic manipulation (gentle spine and limb adjustments) at every visit. This combination has been key in improving Fenway’s mobility and overall comfort. Her tips for managing his anxiety have also been a huge help. Dr. Chattigre’s holistic approach and commitment to finding tailored solutions for every pet are truly unmatched. (Click HERE to see full review.)
Mabel was about 7 years old and had stopped running, jumping, and even walking up stairs. After a year of vet visits to try to diagnose her, we were referred to Dr. Davis. Dr. Davis performed acupuncture, adjusted Mabel’s back, and suggested herbal supplements. Within 2 or 3 visits with Dr. Davis, Mabel was running, jumping, and walking up stairs again. After a year of pain, the transformation was truly amazing. (Click HERE to see full review.)
Dr. Chattigre has been a true blessing for my 14.5 year old dog, Molly, who has been dealing with Cushing's disease and renal failure. Her holistic approach to care has made an incredible difference in my dog's quality of life. Dr. Chattigre takes the time to truly understand her patients, and her gentle, compassionate demeanor instantly puts both my dog and me at ease. (Click HERE to see full review.)
My pug Lily injured her neck and was in a lot of pain that traditional medicine did not relieve. Lily had her first treatment with Dr. Chattigre and we immediately saw a difference. Lily finally seemed comfortable and slept deeply. I credit her recovery and pain-free days to the combination of treatments that Dr. Chattigre recommended and started that first appointment. Dr. Chattigre is excellent with acupuncture and chiropractic on my cat. My cat is 18yrs old, loves her and purrs the whole time. We have been going once a month for the last 7 years. My primary vet told me 7 years ago my cat may have to be put down due to her health and now he is amazed at how her health has improved and sustained. (Click HERE to see full review.)

Dr Chattigre has been treating our 16 year old Labrador Retriever for about 10 months now with acupuncture and naturopathic remedies. Dr Chattigre is also trained in Western veterinary medicine, which gives me confidence, and works with our dog’s regular vet. The treatments appear to have extended our dog’s life and mobility. Seeing Dr. Chattigre for Chinese herbs and acupuncture alongside western medicine has done a fabulous job keeping bloodwork in check, and health maintenance between visits. Not to mention the help with IVDD pain, and the fact dogs can't tell us where they hurt! I would highly recommend this integrative approach. (Click HERE to see full review.)
I first took Mylee to Dr. Chattigre for her seasonal allergies about 5-6 years ago. She was wearing a cone constantly to keep her from eating herself. Nothing the conventional vets gave her worked. Acupuncture and supplements did. An added benefit was that her fear of vets disappeared. (Click HERE to see full review.)
Dr. Chattigre has been absolutely wonderful with our seizure-prone border collie, Tucker. She always has a calm and gentle demeanor, and Tucker loves his monthly acupuncture visits with her. (Click HERE to see full review.)

Most of the year driving conditions in the general Teton region are good, but there are days when the roads just aren't safe. If that occurs, Dr. Davis will reschedule your housecall at no additional charge. In similar fashion, when it comes to emergencies (sometimes life happens!) a one-time free reschedule will be offered. Repeat reschedules will require an additional fee.

Once the consultation and exam have been completed, Dr. Davis will formulate a treatment plan and, if it has already been scheduled, provide the first treatment at that visit. It's important to note that alternative methods tend to work more gradually than conventional ones. That's part of being a more gentle approach! So you may not see much change after just one visit. Depending on the condition being treated, results can be immediate or may take a month or more.
Follow-up visits, if needed, tend to produce sequentially better and longer-lasting results with each one. Treatment intervals are extended as improvement continues, with some patients (particularly older ones) requiring ongoing occasional tune-ups.
- Keep patient in a space suitable for exam and treatment.
- Provide a familiar blanket or bed for the patient.
- Have appropriate snacks available as reward!
As with humans, some animals post-treatment may experience a temporary aggravation of symptoms which should only last 24-48 hours if they occur at all. Most patients do not experience this, but if they do it's usually a mild increase in pre-existing discomfort.
- If your arthritic pet feels like a million bucks after treatment, please prevent over-exertion.
- Gradual improvement typically occurs over the course of a few to several treatments.
